Hi! I'm Arran. I was born in 1994 in South London.  I'm a twin - my brother, Fingal, was born 3 minutes after me.   In this photo (just about the only proper snow we've ever had here in Abbotsbury), we're about 2 - that's me on the left. me and my brother with our Dad - we're about 2

We've got 4 cats Max, Amber, Marble and mine is Rowan, well kind of, my cat, who's the biggest (because he eats quite a lot). My hobbies are: hanging around in the village (that we live in) with our friends, reading, doing stuff on my computer (like using Photoshop, which I think I'm pretty good at). Another thing we do is; every week we go to a drama group that me and my brother find really really fun, because there are loads of people there that are really nice. My favourite subjects are probably science and chemistry. I also do a bit of magic - I can do quite a lot of tricks.

We used to be home educated, but we decided that we would like to try out school. We've been at Budmouth School in Weymouth for a couple of months and I quite enjoy it mostly (although my Dad doesn't like us going to school!)

I'm very good at drawing (although I don't do drawing much any more though) and making things. You can look at some of my photographs and things I've made on this page.

the front of our house Just before I was one year old, my family moved to Abbotsbury in Dorset (southern England), where we still live. The photograph on the right shows the front of our house - it's about 250 years old - and the one on the far right is of us just after we moved here.

Dad built a treehouse for us, about 7 years ago, and he's put electricity in it, so that we can have a stereo and a light.   our treehouse We sometimes sleep there in the summer and we have a swing beside it (that is a bit battered) and a ladder to get up there.

I'm very good at climbing - I can climb up to the top of the treehouse tree.

In July 2006 the BBC did a feature about the fact that we've never been to school. The programme was called Inside Out . The film crew were all very nice, cool and friendly. They, first of all filmed us where we live to see what our lifestyle was like, and then they filmed us trying out school for a day. It was quite an interesting experience. I know that this all might sound weird for you because you've always gone to school, but I'd never been, so it was interesting for me.

The sea is about 20 minutes walk away and we often go for a swim in the summer - the water's very clear, but the beach is steep, so it gets deep very quickly and we have to be careful in the water (particularly when it's rough).

My Dad (Andrew) is a website designer and my Mum (Mary-Clare) is a textile artist.

That's all for now - but keep an eye on this website - for lots more photos, drawings and everything about me - Arran Green!

Things I really like doing or want to do

Cliff jumping in Wales with my cousin Nick.

Surfing - excellent!

Paintballing - that was really fun and I want to do it again.

There is a place called Splashdown in Poole/Bournemouth that I really like because it has loads of really fun water slides.

Countries we've been to

The first country we ever went to was Morocco. That was a long long time ago when me and my brother were seven months old, I don't have much to say about it, because I can't remember much about it.

The second country we went to was Greece that was really nice with all the clear very waters, a thing that I remember I liked were stones that floated because they were volcanic rock.

One of the most amazing countries I've ever been to is probably India. I actually got to realise how amazing it is by going to it 4 times (the last time was at the end of last year), I don't really now why I like it so much I just do, and

A country we've been to quite recently is Thailand. It is a nice country with beaches with clear water (not as clear as Greece) and nice places to stay.

The last country we went to was Turkey. Some of the prices were more expensive than here in England but that wasn't too bad. The thing I liked most about Turkey was Istanbul, that I just really liked.
